By downloading, installing, or using MileLog ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Use of the app
MileLog is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Your data
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for backing it up. While MileLog offers Google Drive backup and Excel export, we are not responsible for any loss of data caused by device failure, uninstalling the app, or third-party service issues.
3. Google Drive integration
The optional Google Drive backup feature relies on Google services. Your use of Google Drive is also governed by Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for changes, downtime, or limitations imposed by Google.
4. Intellectual property
The MileLog name, logo, and app design are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app except as permitted by law.
5. Disclaimers
MileLog is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that calculations will be accurate for any specific purpose. Mileage and cost calculations are estimates intended for personal reference only.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the app.
7. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the app or any feature at any time without notice.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
